Partners In The Gospel

Welcome to ALMOND Ministries, a partnering together to do great things for the glory of God. Partnership is a biblical principal established by God. A covenant is an agreement normally established between two parties. The one commits something in the way of support, loyalty, time, talents, and treasures. The other provides influence, resources, strength, protection, fellowship, and training.

Favor And Thanksgiving

Let's look at an account of partnership in the scriptures. In Philippians 1:1-7 Paul thanked God and prayed for those who supported his ministry. We see Paul spoke God's favor over them and thanked God for them every time he thought of them. Paul prayed for them every time he made a petition to God, making his request with joy, verses 2-3. Why? Look at verse 5, "On account of their contribution into the glad message." In the Revised Standard version it reads, "I am offering my prayer with joy, thankful for your partnership in the gospel."

Growing In Grace

Not only that, he was confident that God, who inspired this generosity in his partners, would keep on helping them grow in (God's) grace until His work within them was finished. Paul went on to say that he was justified in having this confidence about them because he had them in his heart.

A Covenant Of Communication
