2012-2013 Course Titles and Descriptions 


Spiritual Authority
Satan trembles at revelation of spiritual authority in the lives of the saints. Recognition of
authority is recognition of God. God is authority and all authority is of God. Students are
introduced to God ordained delegated authority in every aspect of their spiritual walk and
secular lives. They are taught the vital necessity of recognizing, receiving, and submitting
in humility to God through delegated ordained authority as a precursor for exercising His
authority and power in their lives and ministry.

Faith
Without faith, we cannot please God. Faith is the evidence of a human spirit influenced
by, and saturated with God. Faith is the principle foundation for accessing, believing, and
receiving from God. This course reveals the Author and source of faith, the necessity of
living by faith, and the mechanics of operating in faith toward God.

Understanding and Operating in the Anointing
The Holy Spirit is the earnest of our salvation; God’s “good faith deposit” to the believer
guaranteeing our complete redemption. He has a major impact in and on everything that
God has created and done from the foundation of the universes for His man. In this
course we lay a foundation for understanding the operation of the Holy Spirit’s anointing
in our lives, ministry, and church. This course will leave you desiring Spiritual Gifts and
following after Him in sincere love that you might excel to the edifying of the Body of
Christ.

Church Growth and Planting
A comprehensive study of how to start churches and how to keep them going and
growing. Biblical principles are applied to both world missions and local church settings.
The components of evangelism, education, missions, and administrative leadership are
studied in the context of establishment and growth of the local church.

Evangelism, Soul Winning, and Discipleship
Students are taught the importance of personal witnessing, soul winning, and discipleship as
it relates to a member of a local New Testament Church body. The focus is on finding our
place and working together in unity within our local church as a body doing the “work of the
evangelist”; Winning, planting, and disciplining the lost in our communities, nation and
abroad. 

Healing
Healing is revealed through the study of scriptures as a completed work of redemption
appropriated by faith in the work of God through Jesus Christ. The historical theological
approaches toward healing are reviewed in relation to the contemporary, local church.
Students are encouraged to view, expect, receive, and minister divine healing as a regular
part of their lives.

Hebrews and General Epistles
An analysis of Hebrews, James, the books of Peter, and Jude; these books are studied from
an historical perspective, as well as practical application for contemporary Christian living.

The Book of Acts
A concentrated study of the Book of Acts with special emphasis on the events of the early
church, the out pouring of the Holy Spirit and Paul’s life and impact on the church,
through his travels are reviewed as well.

Old Testament Survey Parts One and Two
This course is historical-thematic survey of the Old Testament. Special attention will be
given to the cultural background, theological and contextual perspectives, and the
practical application of major Old Testament themes. Also, emphasis will be placed on
the study of literary genres and on the political and religious environment in the ancient
Near East.

Pastoral Family Care and Ministry
This is a comprehensive study of how to provide pastoral family care and ministry to the
church family. Biblical principles are applied revealing both spiritual and physical care of
for local church. The components of love, faith, and joy in the Holy Ghost along with
proven practical benevolent ministry to establish, feed, and grow the local church.

Zoe (The God Kind of Life)
The God-kind of life is a study of the quality of life you received the instant your spirit
was born again. Zoe is a gift from God. Zoe is life as God himself has it. Students learn
that this life is a present possession, not just a future hope.

Faith in Action
A deeper concentrated study in the operation and mechanics of faith that moves
mountains, destroys demonic influence, establishes the Church of the Lord, Jesus Christ,
and turns the world right side up!

Bible Doctrines, Cults, and False Religions
This class will cover 16 fundamentals doctrines from both Old and New Testament,
tracing the biblical roots of our current beliefs and practices, identify fundamental errors
of cult religions while examining some of the world’s most infamous cults and pagan
religions.

Authority of the Believer
This course is a look into the authority that all believers have been granted through God
“in” Christ. A strong emphasis is placed on the application and manifestation of ministry
gifts and signs provided to all believers.

Teaching the Bible and Homiletics
Students will learn how to prepare a sermon from concept to presentation. They will have
to prepare written notes and content for various sermons and present them in class. They
will discover study techniques communication skills and adult education technique.

Ephesians
Each section of the book of Ephesians will be covered. Ephesians is one of the most
concentrated doctrinal epistles that Paul wrote. It is one of four epistles that Paul wrote
during his first Roman imprisonment. The book of Ephesians is laid out in a systematic
and deliberate manner. The first half of the book deals with who we are in Christ. The
last half of the book deals with the application of truth to our life.

Substitution, Identification, and Union
This is a course that will “mess you up” from ever being a nominal complacent saint and
Christian! It is an in-depth spiritual insight and revelation of the substitutionary work of
God in Christ, our identification with and in Christ’s work both pre-resurrection and postresurrection, and the spiritual truth in realities of our union with God in Christ through
His Holy Spirit.

Life of Christ
A look into the life, ministry, anointing of Christ as described in the four gospels; His
early days and ministry and an overview of His methods and miracles.

Praise and Worship
This is an in-depth look in the Old and New Testaments of the necessity and power of
praise and worship in the life of the believer and the congregation of God’s people. In
this course you will discover Biblical Truth regarding the standards set for the Church to
offer the sacrifice of praise, thanksgiving, and worship from the heart to our God.

The Holy Spirit/Fruit of the Spirit
The Holy Spirit will be traced from creation to Pentecost. The different ways the Holy
Spirit has related to the believer in both Old and New Testaments will be explored, and
an in-depth look at, and insight into the inner working of the Holy Spirit in the
establishment of godly holy character in the life of the believer.

Types of Christ
A look at the many Old Testaments types, foreshadows, forerunners of Christ and an
interesting look at prophesies, people, and things that announced the coming of Christ.

Confession
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue” Proverbs 18:21. This is an in-depth study
of the doctrine of confession; the pivotal element for an active effective faith in the life of
the believer, confession of God’s Word. Confession is a work of faith that opens the
supernatural door of access to God’s unlimited grace toward man.

The Force of Righteousness
In this class righteousness is revealed to the student.

Church Administration
In this course attention is given to the various aspects of the minister’s life, including
work, family time, schedule, and staff relationships. You will study protocol for church
administration, organization, leadership characteristics, and the relationship of
administration to congregation members.

Blood Covenant
There is nothing firmer or surer than God’s Word to man and there is no guarantee
stronger than a blood covenant in the heart and mind of men to insure one’s promise to
fulfill their word. In this class you will discover the thin red line that runs from Genesis
through the Book of Revelation that our Father God uses as a foundation for our faith in
His faithfulness to the human race. His oaths and promises are secured in the lives of
those that call on Him by the shedding of the Blood of the Spotless Lamb, Jesus Christ.
He has made an everlasting covenant forever with men.

Church Growth and Planting
This is a comprehensive study of how to develop and start a church and how to keep it

General Epistles
This is a comprehensive study of the Pauline and General Epistles of the New Testament.
In this course you will find Paul’s gospel of Jesus Christ to the Gentile world and receive
revelation for the believer to live in a reconciled state to God. You will discover the
principles for the New Testament Church in our generation.
