Men of Iron

In the day we live in, there is a great need for strong men. Throughout the Bible we see men with unique qualities who were leaders in the Body of Christ. Men like Moses who was able to get beyond his shortcomings and lead masses of people into freedom. Joshua, who was Moses’ successor, led in a greater way than his teacher. Then came the prophets who declared God’s message to mankind, and put pen to paper so we could read their message generations later. Jesus selected one of the most unique groups of men to follow closely with Him during His ministry. Twelve disciples who were by no means perfect, but naturally qualified and became spiritually qualified to establish His ministry even after He ascended back into Heaven.

The Men’s Ministry of ALCC, Men of Iron, is designed to build up the men of the church. Young and old alike are invited to participate in dinners, outings, volunteering and services so they can stir their God-given qualities and lead in today’s setting like Biblical men led in theirs.

 This ministry is overseen by Greg Lookabaugh, a long-time member of ALCC who desires to see powerful men of God raised up through the church. He works directly with Pastor Hallam to communicate a message of courage and strength to the men of ALCC.
