Pastor Cindy Hallam

Pastor Cindy Hallam has been pastoring alongside her husband Walter Hallam for over 25 years. Together they have ministered to people around the world from La Marque, Texas. One of the ministry slogans "Reaching Neighborhoods and Nations" has proven to be true in her first phase of ministry. Not only has she ministered and reached out to the world from her Texas base, but Pastor Cindy has also traveled around the world to pray, preach the word and help children. From Ireland to Mexico to Australia and Nicaragua she has been able to share the love of Jesus Christ with people of all races and ages.

One her most favorite trips was a Youth Mission trip to Ireland. Imagine traveling with 50 teenagers to a country thousands of miles away for 10 days and during those 10 days going to several cities and taking another flight into England before returning home. To see our mild-mannered pastor you would not think this would be her idea of a good time, but Pastor Cindy loves young people and giving them the opportunity to get outside of a normal life and expose them to the abilities of God in them to minister.

In addition to loving young people, she was the director of the Young Adults Ministry for the first 10 years of ALCC and helped to train the first generation of 20-somethings of the church to be productive educators, businesspeople, physicians and ministers. Her plan to teach Biblical principles for success and build strong relationships among this age group proved to be highly effective as young families begin to form and become prosperous. She remains in contact with many of these people today and rejoices in the favor God has brought in each of their lives and careers.

The Women's Ministry remains an important part of her local ministry. Ladies from all walks of life gather to hear her teachings on wisdom and to receive prayer from this powerful teacher of faith. Whether it is at a Bible study or through a cooking demonstration, Pastor Cindy knows how to bring a message that inspires her listeners.

Educator
For 13 years and counting Cindy Hallam has been taught in the educational arena as well as the church. Her beginning in private education was the stepping to earning a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, a Master's in Education, Highly Qualified status by the state of Texas and finally her Teacher's Certification in Texas. She has taken countless photos, created yearbooks and taught children to read and write their way into a full college education.

Commitment
Pastor Cindy Hallam has given her life to the ministry of the local church and educating young people. Her desire is to see individuals of all ages grow in excellence and anointing. There is a fight of faith and Pastor Cindy helps to position people to win the race and pass on a winning heart to their family members.
In the first 25 years of ministry she has impacted thousands of lives. Her drive to complete what God has mandated her to do in ministry has only increased in planning for the next 25 years. Through prayer, perseverance and strong relationships with family and friends God will be able to do double in her powerful ministry.
